Our moodboard and lookbook work draws on the visual language global shoots really want from Japan. That spans the cool fluorescent glow of a Shinjuku konbini at three in the morning. It reaches the warm grain of Kyoto wood interiors, the soft coastal light of the Sea of Japan, and the bright kawaii palettes of Harajuku and Akihabara.

We line up curated references, colour studies, lens and lighting plates, and texture sheets. These align directors, DPs, production designers, and clients around one shared visual target. All of it happens before a single Toho-stage day is booked.

Each board is built with your creative team and honed through set feedback rounds. We deliver in Figma, Adobe-native files, and print-ready PDFs. They travel clean between Tokyo, Osaka, and overseas shoot offices.

We work across commercials, scripted features, doc work, and brand films. Our team turns vague direction into clear guidance each department can use. Wardrobe, art department, and post all start from the same reference frame. Most jobs move from brief to signed-off look in forty-eight hours. Rush options are there when funding or talent windows squeeze the timeline.

A board only earns its keep if the grade can hit it. We tag each reference with a target colour space, whether Rec.709 for broadcast or HDR and Dolby Vision for streaming. That gives your colourist a clear map before the DaVinci Resolve session begins. Lighting plates note HMI and LED setups too. The look you sign off in pre-production then survives the move into the post house intact.

The work is built shoulder to shoulder with your creative team. We run reference rounds with the director, DP, art department, and wardrobe so each voice lands early. Many of our visual designers trained at art schools like Musashino Art University, so they speak the language of the craft. We fold in feedback round by round. The final board keeps every department pulling toward one shared look.
