SCENE 01 / WIRELESS SYSTEMS

Wireless Systems

Complete wireless infrastructure for your Japanese production.

Scroll

Wireless communication and audio systems keep production teams connected, and they move audio without any cables. They cover wireless intercoms, IFB feeds, audio hops, and communications networks, which matter most when large crews spread across big sets or far-flung locations.

We build wireless packages set up for your production's own communication and audio needs. Our team plans the frequencies and tests every unit, so the gear runs free of interference. That gives crews clear communication and reliable audio across the whole shoot.

Our Process

1

RF Survey

We scan your locations to map the RF environment and find clean frequencies.

2

System Design

We design one joined-up wireless solution that covers audio, video, and control needs.

3

Frequency Coordination

We assign and log every frequency, so all systems run without interference.

4

Production Support

Our team tracks the RF and stays on call across your whole shoot.

On Location

Integrated Wireless Infrastructure Across Japan

A modern Japanese set runs on wireless. Shoot sound, IFB, IEM, wireless video, lens control, intercom, and stunt communications all share one limited band of range.

We treat coordination as a single craft. Our crews scan sites from Tokyo studios to Hokkaido exteriors and Okinawa coastal sets. Each team then gets clean frequencies before the call sheet goes out. Teradek Bolt and Vaxis Storm handle zero-latency video village feeds from Imagica- and Hibino-aligned vendors. Preston FIZ, ARRI WCU-4, and Tilta Nucleus follow-focus channels fold into the same frequency map.

Japanese RF rules are built into our plan from the start. Our team handles the sign-up for high-power systems and hands the records to each department head. The same plan grows from a single-unit shoot in Kyoto to multi-unit features that move between Yokohama, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. On-call RF tracking runs the whole way through.

Our technicians partner with Tac System, Nagase Brothers, and Hibino. The aim is gear that works well together and a clean, shared band of range. Your shoot then gets wireless that grows with the job and never clashes on the day.

Integrated wireless serves every production type. NHK, TBS, and Fuji TV studio shoots juggle intercom, IFB, and video hops alongside in-house broadcast RF. Netflix Japan features staging at Toho Studios stages may add wireless follow focus and stunt comms across multiple units. We map every department onto one clean frequency plan. We then confirm the layout with each head before the call sheet goes out, so the whole RF picture holds.

We deliver and rig across Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto on your prep schedule, with English-language coordination throughout. Each kit ships with logged frequency forms, antenna distribution, and labelled packs for every department. Rates are quoted in JPY, with the 10 percent consumption tax shown clearly on every line. We confirm rental periods, RF technician hours, and swap terms up front, so the wireless budget stays predictable across a multi-unit shoot.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What wireless systems do you coordinate?

We set up every production wireless system, including microphones, IFB/IEM, wireless video, lens control, intercom, and any other RF gear. Careful planning keeps all of them working as one, with no interference.

How do you handle frequency allocation?

Our team scans your locations, finds clean frequencies inside the Japanese legal range, and assigns channels to every department. We then share the frequency records and help each department program its gear.

What about wireless video systems?

We supply Teradek Bolt, Vaxis Storm, and other wireless video systems to feed the video village. They send a zero-latency signal, so directors and clients can monitor without any cables.

Do you provide wireless lens control?

Yes. We supply wireless follow-focus systems such as Preston FIZ, ARRI WCU-4, and Tilta Nucleus, and we line up the lens-control frequencies with all your other wireless systems.

What about Japanese RF regulations?

We know the Japanese frequency rules well and keep all wireless gear inside the legal range. Our team can also advise on the sign-up needs for high-power systems.

Can you support large-scale productions?

Yes. We often support shoots that run dozens of wireless channels across many departments, and these bigger jobs gain the most from full RF planning.

Productions in Japan that need this often pair it with Wireless Microphone Systems, Location Sound Packages, and Boom Microphones for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Communication Systems and Wireless Audio Systems.
