Secure DIT Workflows Across Japan

Data care is the quiet team that guards the whole schedule. Our crews treat each offload as the only chance to catch the day.

Our DIT stations, RAID arrays, and high-speed offload chains come from Imagica, Nagase Brothers, and Yokohama Rental partners, and we set them around the shoot's cameras. That spans ARRIRAW from an Alexa 35 in Tokyo, Sony X-OCN from a Venice 2 on site in Osaka, RED R3D from a V-Raptor shoot in Hokkaido, and BRAW and Canon Cinema RAW from doc units in Kyoto and Fukuoka.

Each offload runs a triple backup with a checksum check at each stage, and the drives travel on separate runs. A full chain-of-custody log goes with every hand-off to post. On-set colour work covers show LUTs, dailies grading, and CDL build that flows clean into Imagica or partner houses for the final grade.

Multi-camera shoots get parallel offload power, so dailies are ready the same day. LTO archive, sorted delivery of camera originals, and full shot metadata close out the package at wrap. Your footage stays safe, sorted, and ready for post.

The workflow flexes by production type. A Netflix Japan series under strict security gets encrypted drives and locked chain-of-custody logs. A doc unit roaming Hokkaido wants a compact field cart that runs on battery. A commercial in Shibuya often needs same-hour selects for the agency. We size the DIT package and crew to each, then bridge cleanly into post houses such as Imagica or Sony PCL for the conform and grade.

Rental logistics are handled end to end. We deliver DIT carts and drives to stages and locations across Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, with secure transport for the camera originals. Our English-and-Japanese coordinators keep visiting supervisors briefed at every step. Day rates, drive rental, and DIT crew are quoted in JPY, with the 10 percent consumption tax itemised. You approve the full workflow cost before a single card is offloaded.

We give full archive services, with LTO tape creation, sorted delivery of camera originals, and project handoff to post-prod. Each archive package holds full metadata, shot reports, and retrieval records.
