SCENE 01 / LED LIGHTING SYSTEMS
LED Lighting Systems
Professional LED lighting packages for film, TV, and commercial production across Japan.
LED lighting has changed film production. The fixtures save power, give off little heat, and let you tune the color. In Japan, LED is now standard at Toho Studios, Nikkatsu, and across Tokyo's facilities, while Japanese engineers like Panasonic and SOLA add fresh ideas of their own.
We source LED systems from top global and Japanese makers through rental partners like NAC Image Technology and Yodoyabashi Camera. The available stock is matched to your gaffer's specs. Our team then builds out the fixtures, control systems, and accessories for a full LED package.

Cinema LED Packages Tuned For Japan Productions
LED is now the default light source on most Japanese sets and locations, and the rental scene here has caught up fast.
Through Hibino, Imagica, Sony PCL, and NAC Image Technology in Tokyo, plus Yodoyabashi in Osaka, we pull the full global cinema LED catalogue. That covers ARRI SkyPanel S30 through S360, ARRI Orbiter, Aputure LS 600d and 1200d, Litepanels Gemini, Astera Titan and Helios tubes, and Quasar Science. To that we add DMX dimmer boards and wireless CRMX control, then color-match the packages across many units. A Kyoto temple interior, a Shibuya night exterior, and a Yokohama studio build all cut together clean.
LED earns its keep in Japan on the location work the country leans toward. Battery-fed Aputure and Astera fixtures keep noise and heat down inside Asakusa ryokan interiors and guarded temple zones where power packs are barred.
RGB Astera tubes, pixel-mapped via app, paint the color story for J-pop music videos shot in Shibuya. Heavy SkyPanel arrays cover the sub-zero exterior fill that Hokkaido winter shoots need, with none of the fuel-truck logistics of HMI. Each package ships with TLCI-95+ verified output, the right voltage controllers for Japan's 100V mains, and on-set LED techs on call when DMX work gets tricky.
LED stock follows Japan's production calendar closely. The deepest cinema packages and trained LED techs book out fast across Golden Week in May and the Obon week in August. We reserve fixtures and control gear well before those peaks. Tech day rates track the Japanese Labor Standards Act, so prep and overtime stay compliant. Every LED quote lists the 10 percent consumption tax in JPY, with English-language liaison kept open from the first spec call.
Tunable LED earns its keep at the grade, not just on set. Our techs lock color temperature and gamut targets per setup, then log the data each day for the finish. That record travels with footage to Imagica, Sony PCL, or OmnibusJapan for color. A Minato studio build and a Shinjuku night exterior then cut together clean. The colorist hits Rec.709 or HDR delivery without rebuilding the look, because the source already matches across units.
FAQ
Professional LED Equipment
What LED brands do you offer?
We supply gear from every major pro LED brand, including ARRI (SkyPanel, Orbiter), Aputure (LS series, amaran), Astera (Titan Tube, Helios), Litepanels (Gemini, Astra), Quasar Science, and more. The brand we pick depends on what is in stock and what your shoot needs.
Can LED lights match tungsten or daylight?
Yes. Modern cinema LEDs hold color very well and dial in precisely from 2700K tungsten up to 6500K daylight and past it. Top fixtures like the ARRI SkyPanel reach TLCI ratings of 95+ for broadcast and cinema work.
Are battery-powered LED options available?
Yes. Many LED fixtures run on V-mount or Gold-mount batteries, which makes them ideal for location work with no power packs nearby. Our team can spec battery packages for run-and-gun documentary, ENG, and remote location shoots.
How do you control multiple LED fixtures?
Control options span DMX (wired and wireless), brand apps (ARRI, Aputure, Astera), and integrated console systems. We supply a control setup that suits how complex your production is.
Do LED packages include stands and rigging?
Basic packages include the right stands for each fixture, while overhead rigging, specialty mounts, and advanced grip kit can be added on. Our team can spec full packages with all the support gear you need.
Can you provide LED technicians for operation?
Yes. We can supply LED and lighting technicians who know modern LED systems, DMX programming, and wireless control for shoots that need support beyond a standard gaffer.
